Terms of Use.

Welcome to AukMoney. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form the agreement between you and AukMoney (“we”, “our”, or “us”) whenever you visit aukmoney.com or use the AukMoney mobile application (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

AukMoney is a non-custodial peer-to-peer payments application. Money moves directly from you to the person you are paying — we do not sit in the middle, we do not hold your funds, and we do not process transfers on your behalf.

To use AukMoney you must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher) and legally able to enter into this agreement. You must provide accurate account information, keep it up to date, and are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

You are solely responsible for the security of your credentials and wallet. Because AukMoney is non-custodial, we cannot reverse a transfer, undo a signature, or recover funds that have moved to another party. Choose recipients carefully, double-check the amount, and never share your password with anyone.

You agree not to use AukMoney to:

• Break the law, or facilitate anyone else breaking it.
• Send or request money in connection with fraud, extortion, or money laundering.
• Impersonate someone else, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or attempt to overwhelm it.
• Use the Service to distribute unlawful, harassing, or hateful content.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate this section, or that put other people or the Service at risk.

AukMoney is a communication and coordination layer. We do not custody, hold, escrow, or otherwise take control of the funds you send. Transfers settle directly between wallets that you and your counterparty control. This has consequences: transactions are typically irreversible, and their success or failure ultimately depends on the underlying networks used to settle them, not on us.

The AukMoney name, the AukMoney marks, the design of the Service, and the underlying code are ours (or our licensors’). You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You keep ownership of the content you post or transmit through the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AukMoney will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. In no event will our aggregate liability to you exceed one hundred US dollars.

You can stop using AukMoney at any time and delete your account from within the app. We can suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms or are placing other users at risk.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, notify you inside the app or by email. If you continue using the Service after an update, you agree to the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where AukMoney is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law grants you additional rights.
