AukMoney (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a non-custodial peer-to-peer payments application. We designed AukMoney around a simple principle — the less we know about you, the less we can lose, leak, or misuse. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we do collect when you use aukmoney.com or the AukMoney mobile application, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

When you create an AukMoney account we ask for the minimum information needed to identify you to the people you transact with: your full name, an email address, and a password. If you invite or send money to someone, we also process a reference to their AukMoney handle so we can route the request.

We do not hold your funds, we do not maintain balances on your behalf, and we do not broker your transactions. Because AukMoney is non-custodial by design, transaction settlement happens directly between users through their own wallets. We store only the metadata required to display your activity to you inside the app.

We use the information above to:

• Create and secure your AukMoney account.
• Route payment and request messages between you and your contacts.
• Communicate essential account or security notices.
• Detect abuse, spam, or fraudulent behaviour on the platform.
• Comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train third-party advertising models. We do not build a behavioural profile of you for marketing purposes.

Our website uses a minimal set of first-party cookies to remember your session and preferences. If we ever enable product analytics, we will use privacy-preserving, aggregated tooling and disclose it here. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; some features may not work correctly if you do.

We retain account information for as long as your AukMoney account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete the personal data we hold about you, as well as the right to object to certain processing or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. You can exercise these rights at any time by writing to support@aukmoney.com.

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and we protect the small amount of information we do store with hardened infrastructure and least-privilege access. That said — no system is ever perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

AukMoney is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or to applicable law. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, notify you inside the app or by email.
